Please pray with us for the following U.S. Service Men and their loved ones, who have sacrificed so much for us in the past month: Heavenly Father, we pray for the peaceful repose of the following U.S. Service Men who have died in service to our country. We are profoundly grateful for their service, and we grieve their ultimate sacrifice. We pray for healing and comfort for the loved ones they leave behind. Justin L. Sisson, 23, of Phoenix, AZ, died on June 3, 2013, in Tsamkani, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his unit was attacked by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY. • Spc. Robert A. Pierce, 20, of Panama, OK, died on June 3, 2013, in Tsamkani, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his unit was attacked by a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, KY. • Warrant Officer Sean W. Mullen, 39, of Dover, DE, died on June 2, 2013, in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Campbell, KY. • Staff Sgt. Job M. Reigoux, 30, of Austin, TX, died on June 1, 2013, in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit with a rocket propelled grenade. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. • Pfc. Mariano M. Raymundo, 21, of Houston, TX, died June 1, 2013, in Sharan, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 210th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY. • Spc. Kyle P. Stoeckli, 21, of Moseley, VA, died on June 1, 2013, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained when his unit was attacked by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, TX. • Spc. Ray A. Ramirez, 20, of Sacramento, CA, died on June 1, 2013, in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained when his unit was attacked by an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA. • Staff Sgt. Joe A. Nunez-Rodriguez, 29, of Pasadena, TX, who died on May 30, 2013, in Wardak Province, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained when his vehicle struck an Improvised Explosive Device. He was assigned to the 68th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO. • Spc. Christopher R. Drake, 20, of Tickfaw, LA, who died on May 26, 2013, in Bagram, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked by a rocket propelled grenade. He was assigned to the 1084th Transportation Company, 165th Combat Support Sustainment Battalion, 139th Regional Support Group, Reserve, LA. • Sgt. Eugene M Aguon, 23, of Mangilao, Guam, who died on May 16, 2013, n Kabul, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with a vehicle borne improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Fort Juan Muna, Guam. • Spc. Dwayne W. Flores, 22, of Sinajana, Guam, who died on May 16, 2013, n Kabul, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked their unit with a vehicle borne improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Fort Juan Muna, Guam. • Sgt. 1st Class Trenton L. Rhea, 33, of Oakley, KS., who died on May 15, 2013, in Kandahar, Afghanistan, after drowning while attempting to cross a body of water during combat operations. He was assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 530th Military Police Battalion, 300th Military Police Brigade, 200th Military Police Command, Belton, MO. • Sgt. 1st Class Jeffrey C. Baker, 29, of Hesperia, CA, who died on May 14 ,2013, in Sanjaray, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 766th Ordnance Company, 63rd Ordnance Battalion, 52nd Ordnance Group, Fort Stewart, GA. • Spc. Mitchell K. Daehling, 24, of Dalton, MA, who died on May 14, 2013, in Sanjaray, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, TX. • Spc. William J. Gilbert, 24, of Hacienda Heights, CA, who died on May 14, 2013, in Sanjaray, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, TX. • Pfc. Cody J. Towse, 21, of Elk Ridge, UT, who died on May 14, 2013, in Sanjaray, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 41st Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, TX. • 1stLt. Brandon J. Landrum, 26, of Lawton, OK, who died on May 4, 2014, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked by an enemy improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36thInfantry, 1stBrigade Combat Team, 1stArmored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. • Staff Sgt. Francis G. Phillips IV, 28, of Meridian, NY, who died on May 4, 2014, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked by an enemy improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36thInfantry, 1stBrigade Combat Team, 1stArmored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. • Spc. Kevin Cardoza, 19, of Mercedes, TX, who died on May 4, 2014, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked by an enemy improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36thInfantry, 1stBrigade Combat Team, 1stArmored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. • Spc. Thomas P. Murach, 22, of Meridian, ID, who died on May 4, 2014, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked by an enemy improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 36thInfantry, 1stBrigade Combat Team, 1stArmored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas. • Spc. Brandon J. Prescott, 24, of Bend, OR, who died on May 4, 2014, in Maiwand, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his vehicle was attacked by an enemy improvised explosive device. Christian, 39, of Warwick, NY, who died May 4, 2013, while conducting combat operations in Farah province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, NC. • Cpl. David M. Sonka, 23, of Parker, CO, who died May 4, 2013, while conducting combat operations in Farah province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Marine Special Operations Battalion, Camp Lejeune, NC. • Spc. Trinidad Santiago Jr., 25, of San Diego, CA, who died on May 2, 2013, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO. • Pfc. Charles P. McClure, 21, of Stratford, OK, who died on May 2, 2013, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident. He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO. • Staff Sgt. Michael H. Simpson, 30, of San Antonio, Texas, who died May 1, 2013, in Landstuhl, Germany, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit on April 27, with an improvised explosive device in Arian, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
