Please read--This morning, in an ambulance screaming down Broadway to ICU at Boulder Community Hospital, a thought crossed my mind that this could be it. The Dr. at the clinic had declared cardiac crisis (wrong diagnosis). I thought first of my wife , the AWESOME Wild Love Monkey. Then my thoughts went to friends. The Wild Love MOnkey and my close friends are people who have each made profound impacts on this world for the good. I thought to myself that maybe, just maybe, Id made a difference. Sure have tried. Thing is, I made a peace on that ambulance ride, and felt at that time, that yeah, this has been a damn good ride, and hopefully I have made some difference. I could die in peace. Friends, whatever you are holding back on, do it. If your life is not filled with fear, wonder, hope, and most importantly, Love. Change that life. We insulate ourselves from those most powerful feelings, but they are given to us to change us. Give more than you can afford to. Live more frugally than you deserve. Take the time, please, oh please, to wrestle with and search the ideas of God and faith. In other words, LIVE.
