Please read... About to take my online final for Abnormal Psych in a few minutes and then I will have 10 glorious days with no school and no homework. Ended A&P II with a strong B. Not the A I was aiming for but regardless I am very proud of myself. Not only was this a 13 week class condensed down to 8 weeks, but I had a few setbacks along the way and only made it to 5 1/2 weeks of class. During this semester I ruptured a disc in my lower back and was in the hospital for 4 days, dealt with almost daily pain and numbness, I went on vacation for a week and then had an accident/incident this past weekend that literally almost killed me. I ended up having 2 massive blood transfusions and required 6 units of blood to get me stable for surgery. I was told I was in critical and guarded condition and needed life saving surgery. Less that 48 hours later I was discharged and less that 24 hours after that I took my A&P final and went back to work the next day. I shared my story of this weekend with one of the doctors I work with and she said Erin you are a Bad Ass B*tch Now I knew I was strong and stubborn, however I even impressed myself this time!. All jokes aside, I am incredibly grateful and thankful to be alive and it is just beginning to hit me how close to death I actually came. Lord knows that Ty could never get through this crazy life without me so it just wasnt my time
