Please read and advise if you can. Good day mamalette. I have always followed ur updates even though am not married cos I realized dat a lot of lessons are learnt here. My story is long but I will try to be brief. Please I need serious advice from everyone. I have dated a guy for long and I love him so much. Stood by him during his family trials cos his mum died early and his d first of 7 kids and becos his dad lost his job and diabetes took one leg, my guy took up responsibilities at a young age. I was always there. Never discouraged of the situation and I helped wen I could. To cut the long story short, my guy told me something dat really hurt me badly. He said his people didnt want him to marry a girl from the east. And he also said I should look into my family background because my dad abandoned us wen he married another woman since 20yrs now. I felt really bad because this is someone I took as a Friend and I confided in him. So after all these years his people (aunties) who were never there for them wen their mum died is not telling a guy of 30yrs old wat to do? And I even asked him wat he told them, he said his confused that if I were in his shoes, he will ask me to follow their advice. Am so sad cos I feel I have been a fool all these yrs and for him to bring up my family is really upsetting me. I dont know what to do. Pls my fellow mothers, sisters pls help me. Thank you all.
