While Senator Ted Cruz is my Senator - I like him and I believe him a good Christian man - likely the best Senator Texas has had in a very long time.... but he must be held accountable for his own words - as well as the Law of the Land, our Constitution, SCOTUS cases on eligibility (1875) - and the 1st US Congress who affirmed the definition of Article II, section 1, clause (paragraph) 5.... as they clearly set and defined the Constitutional requirement for a President to hold office in 1790. They must be a Natural Born Citizen of this Nation, born of two (2) U.S. Citizen parents and on U.S. soil (if Military or civilian and born overseas, must be born on a Military or Government installation - which equals U.S. soil). This is not conspiracy theory this is LAW. The United States of America has in the past been self defined as a Nation of Law. Law is based on the written word, the definition of said words (in this case a historical document requiring a dictionary of that era - Jeffersons 1775 copy of The Dictionary of the English Language) and Legal Precedent. The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) in 1875 and our 1st Congress in the Naturalization Act of 1790 both expressed their views and definitions of the Constitutional term - and singular requirement to hold the office of U.S. President... Both agree with and hold identical language. Not coincidentally; a text utilized by the Founding Fathers in crafting our Constitution written by a man named Vattel, titled Law of Nations describes our Constitutional term of Natural Born Citizen in identical language..... To add insult to injury; On April 30, 2008 the Senate Judiciary Committee wrote and signed Senate Resolution 511 for Senator John McCain affirming he was eligible to run for the office of President, born of two U.S. Citizen parents and on U.S. soil - as required in Article II, section 1, clause 5 - and using identical language.... Notable is WHO signed it..... Why is the media either unaware of all of this - despite the fact two of the most outspoken Conservatives are an Attorney and a Judge - or refuses to address the issue? Last night on The Kelly File I watched a clip of Dr. Dr. Ben Carson and he said (excerpt) We have GOT to wake our Country up - we have GOT to stop being afraid of those people who sit around and call you names and criticize and let that stifle you and keep you from telling the truth (I interpret names to be the dismissive labels - like conspiracy theorist, birther, lunatic, etc.) His were extremely powerful words... but were they addressed? No, not really... People in our Nation really DO need to wake up to the fact our Nation is being subjugated to a power we do not know nor want.... and from every appearance - our own elected Representatives are complicit in this act. They participate while calling the offenses gaffs, mistakes, misunderstandings and hundreds of other excuses - but fact and Law remain. Are we to be a Nation of Law or are we to be a banana republic? Fox News, On The Record wGreta Van Susteren, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Judge Jeanine Pirro Our elected Representatives and our Conservative media hold the outcome of this issue in their hands. Should they choose to continue in this direction as the past seven years have suggested - our Nation is set for destruction. The writing has been on the wall this entire period of time - Military Veterans have been some of the most outspoken in voicing it - and Military Veterans were labeled potential domestic terrorists by this corrupt and lawless administration in DHS document IA-0257-09 published in April 2009. The taxpayer funded American Psychiatric Association (APA) recently came out with their new guidelines for determining mental illness (DSM-5) and coincidentally it claims that anyone who speaks out against the government is mentally ill and should be locked up for the safety of the Nation. Either we wake up the Nation - or we will shortly be locked up for the safety of the Nation. Do you still believe we are a Nation of Law Congressman Bob Goodlatte, Congressman Darrell E.
