Please read...its long but will help many people understand what the small town/no animal control rescues deal with. THEY are the ones doing the things that local government should be doing. And most of the money comes out of their own pockets! I am ashamed to say until Jackie and I found the Portal Pups and started our affiliation with SOS, I had NO CLUE of how many animals were in need (in one way or another).
