Please read my story, I am not asking you for money, adoption or rescue. I am only asking that you please remember my picture with my babies and to please think of me when you see a post from a Rescuer begging for help to save a dog in a holding facility or shelter. My name is, Zena. I had my babies about 1 week ago at home. My owner then took me and them to the Smith County Holding Facility in Tyler, TX. There were 3 Texas Rescues that tired to help, but the Holding Facility would not let me go home with any of them, because only one time a week can they release dogs, so we had to wait our turn. I came up for release this past Tuesday, 1.21.2014. My babies were 5 days old. I died this morning from Parvovirus that I caught in the Holding Facility. Two of my babies also have it now. In my memory would you please help to change conditions in Holding Facilities and Shelters to help others. Also, if it isnt too much to ask when you see Rescues begging on threads to please post and cross post for those of us left behind in Holding Facilities and Shelters, could you please hit your share button.
