Please read,ponder and act upon Whats your intention and what payback do you expect when you do good? You know how much good you or a generous rich one or a brave one does to a child,spouse,parents,siblings,friends and family without expecting or reminding yourself towards the rewards from the only reliable REWARDER&Judge on judgment day,may have been in vain on the day? This is called ikhlas(doing deeds for the sake of Allah alone),so dont just act because of thought. Know that ikhlas alone wont be enough as our acts have to be right Islamically and without showing off or seeking praise from humans, SECRET GOOD ACTS ARE BEST, this is where Islamic knowledge comes in, lets seek it. You cant do forbidden acts to do good. Say, [O Muhammad], Shall we inform you of the greatest losers as to [their] deeds? [They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work. (Q18:103-104) For any deed to be accepted by Allah, it must fulfill three conditions: it must be done by a believer. The deeds of a kaffir(disbeliever) or munafiq(2-faced person) are rejected. it must be done only for Allahs sake. There can be no ulterior motive. it must be done according to the Sunnah of the Messenger (SAW). You can’t invent new forms of worship according to your desires. Are our acts done and recommended by the prophet SAW? No matter how much good anyone does, it will be of no benefit except a believer.
