Please read the letter from TSgt Jerry Cataldo that I have in quots in this post. PLEASE! Sign a morale boosting message to my scrolls for deployed U.S. Troops this weekend. Saturday, I will be at Rommel Harley Davidson for Daytona Dreaming event at Seaford, DE with my scrolls. On Sunday, 1PM until 4PM I will be at American Legion Post 19 at Laurel, DE with my scrolls. To show you how important your messages are to our Brave Troops here is a copy and paste in quotes of an email the I received on Christmas Eve 2002 from an Airmen deployed overseas. Date: Tuesday, December 24, 2002 1:38 AM Subject: Thanks for the support Hi, My name is Technical Sergeant Jerry Cataldo. I am stationed in Qatar. We recently received your support banner. I just wanted to say thanks for the support. Many people tell us that it is too bad we have to be here during the Holidays. Although it is depressing at times, I wouldnt say it is too bad we have to be here. We are here supporting a good cause. Someone has come into our backyard and tried to get into the hearts and souls of Americans. What they failed to remember is that America is not just a country, we are a team. We will join together as a team and bring the guilty ones to justice. Our Father in heaven is not a figure, an Idol or good luck charm. Our Father is a loving, caring and Just God. He will help us bring the guilty ones to justice. The bible says that if you are not for Him, you are against Him. Well, I can honestly say that the terrorists are not for Him. And I can say that our President is for Him. So, when I get depressed during the holidays and start thinking about my family and how I would rather be there, I make myself remember the folks on the planes that destroyed the World Trade Center. I think about the people that were working in the World Trade Center, trying to provide for their families. I think about those that were killed in N.Y. trying to rescue others. I think about those who stepped up and battled the folks on the plane that was headed to D.C. but instead crashed into the wooded area near Pittsburgh. I think about those on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon. I think about those killed inside our Pentagon, working to defend our country. And most of all, I think about the sons, daughters, wives, husbands, mothers and fathers that are spending Christmas alone this year because someone took their loved ones from them. I never asked to come over here. I never wanted to leave my family. But those who lost their loved ones never even imagined something like that would ever happen If being here will help bring those guilty ones to justice and bring a little piece of mind to the victims family, then it is well worth it. Again thank you for your awesome support. Please continue to pray for us here. Sincerely, TSgt Jerry Cataldo Picture of TSgt Jerry Cataldo attached. Thank you Jerry from George Jackson, American Corner, Maryland.
