Please read this before watching video and JUMPING to conclusions!! FIRST.......Police brutality is a definite issue that needs to be addressed!!!! SECOND.......Though with this case a person really needs to look into the situation this video is recording before judging. This happened in Long Beach not Carson and it was last September too. This victim had already attacked one individual. When police responded he attacked one of the police officers. He has mental illness, he was drunk, was high on meth and it was well known he has HIV also!! That last was known because this was not the first encounter with law enforcement. Also if you watch the video closely rather than fixating on the baton strikes when they tried to get him to roll over you see he actually strikes out with his feet and hands. He was also yelling at them to shoot him, to kill him, it was obviously a case where he was completely out of his mind, or simply was attempting suicide by police. They didnt knock his teeth out either, he has a partial that fell out during the confrontation. These facts are well established and proven in the court case, through ALL the surveillance videos and eyewitness accounts, not by just watching a short clip of a small potion of the total confrontation. So I guess rather than trying to protect bystanders and themselves, while trying to save the victims life in the process.....the police shouldve just shot him???
