It is the true essence of children helping children, and what Mikey Friedman hoped to inspire in others. #PayingItForward Hello, My name is Julia Belmonte and just this year, a student in my classroom, Marcello, was a recipient of a laptop from your foundation during his stay at Yale Children’s Hospital. Due to his ability to have this laptop, we are able to now Skype with him from our classroom while he is receiving chemo treatments and cannot attend school. I wish you could have seen the excitement in my classroom the day we were able to reconnect with Marcello while he was at the hospital through the camera on his laptop. It was truly a touching moment and one that I will always remember. As a school, we were inspired by the story and organized a fundraiser for your foundation. Our totals are in and we raised $4,500.00 through a holiday run where children collected sponsors to support them in this event. Please let us know how we can donate the proceeds to you!
