Please remember my Aunt Gena. After losing her husband Tommy on Dec. 12 and her brother Denny on Dec. 13, she had to have a heart cath today. It showed that she had a minor minor heart attack some time the first week of December. Her body responded to the small blockage and did its own bypass and fixed the problem which is how they know when it happened. Also she said she knew when it happened as well but didnt want to let any of us know because she knew Tommy and Denny needed her. What a giving self-less woman! They checked a stint that had been put in several years ago and it was working well. Her heart is strong and in good condition and will only strengthen as the weeks and months go by. She gave Jesus all the credit! Praise God! I am going to stay with her tonight since we have to watch the area where they inserted the needle to do the cath. The doctor talked to us about a syndrome called Broken Heart Syndrome. He attributes her attack to this. He said sometimes the stress of losing a loved one causes the heart to go into a heart attack. Sometimes they are bad and sometimes not so bad as in Genas case. Please keep her in your prayers as she is still adjusting to losing Tommy and Denny.
