Please remember to exhort all your Washington University in St. Louis adjunct and lecturer friends to VOTE for a union (but of course NOT one that will prevent us from working as hard as we like for our students), votes due this Saturday January 3, to be counted shortly thereafter. I was just informed that courts have ruled that email votes are to be counted. Well how about Facebook? I vote YES right here on my Wall, and please do so too, especially if nobody ever sent you a paper ballot. Please support St. Louis Adjunct Action and please join the Saint Louis IWW so we can have representation even between gigs, with or without real or bogus reasonable assurance. Well stand together or well die alone. Nothings more pathetic than the feeble force of one, but the Union makes us strong! Solidarity forever, for the Union makes us strong! Please call Professor There Was an FBI File on Me Back in the Sixties and Professor Love Me Love Me Love Me Im a Liberal and ask them for their support, even if they declined to sign the Solidarity Pledge with the Student-Worker Alliance Living Wage Sit-In, spring 2005. Its never too late to join the right side of history, especially if you have been talking the talk but not yet walking the walk. Happy New Year! May the odds always be in our favor.
