A pharmaceutical giant, panacea Biotics situated at Lalru. Dera bassi, has thrown more than 300 workers, working in the factory for last 5 to 15 years, on forming their union and on demanding revision of wages, their rightful due. These workers and their families are at the verge of starvation and are courageously continuing their agitation for last twelve months. The factory owners are out to crush the right of collective bargaining, which is the fundamental right of all toiling masses on this earth. Defending this right is the duty of all of us who are yearning for a just and equitable society.The state and central govts. Seem to be supporting the factory owners.let us side with the oppressed workers. We the five political parties of the area, rising above party politics and policies have decided to stand with our workers and decided to demonstrate in front of the factory,in thousands on oct 18,2014 at 11:30 am, to express our solidarity with struggling workers and pressurise the management to accept the justify the demands of the workers.
