Please say a prayer and/or send good energy to this little dog tonight. She has been living a sad, neglectful life with uncaring owners and a kind neighbor was finally able to snatch her and bring her in to her house. She put out a desperate plea for a Rescue to take her and so she is coming here. She recently had puppies that are weaned now, but neighbor could not safely get them also. This momma was laying out in her yard today, weak and given up. She has mange, is starved, and sick. Her owner CUT OFF HER LEFT EAR as punishment for jumping on him! Please dont fill the thread with negative comments about what we would all like to do to the owners or why cant they be reported and prosecuted. The neighbor is in fear of the owners finding out she took the dog and the reality is that when reporting this type of neglect and abuse, it is RARELY acted upon, and in even worse cases, the abusers get off scott free or very minimal punishment. This is a COMMON problem in the town this dog is in, and in many other areas all over.
