Please say a prayer for me today. A little back info Ive been having pain in my flank area of my kidneys... With dad having kidney cancer in his early 30s my Dr sent me for an ultrasound they found I have some scaring plus hydronephrosis, which basically means my kidney isnt draining like its supposed to and its enlarged. A serious complication if not taken care of. So today i go for a ct scan with contrast to see if i have a stone blocking the tube between my kidney and bladder. If it is a stone that is great we can break the stone up and fix the problem if it isnt a stone thats where things get scary I will probably have to have surgery to fix the problem and than more test to figure out the underlying cause...which could be a number of things cancer being one of them. So please pray that its just a stone and its an easy fix and I dont have any permanent damage to my kidneys.
