He never did get the help he deserved and, when he passed away in Miami, Florida, his belongings were given to his family in garbage bags. His sister continues to lift her voice on behalf of her brother and our fellow American, even as it appears many try to discourage her from doing so. I find her determination to be a righteous indignation and support her efforts and that of all families who have lost a loved one to the impact of PTSD.
