Please send fart wishes for Donny. Yes, you read that right. Fart wishes. Tonight he nearly gave me a heart attack, in extreme colic pain that banamine wasnt touching, shaking, sweating, literally collapsing as we walked so that he could roll. Called the vet (thanks Christi, of Hill Equine Veterinary Services for holding my hand) who told me I was doing all that could be done and to watch him and let her know if he didnt improve. He was lying quietly in the yard when I got off the phone so I let him just lay there and relax. No sooner did I hang up than he passed gas for at least 10-15 seconds straight! I could actually see the relief in his eyes and a few minutes later he got up, then peed about five gallons :P and passed some more gas. Hes now back in his stall and quite upset that I wont let him go back outside, but his tummy is still rumbling pretty good so I want to be able to watch him overnight. So, yes, please send fart wishes for my little problem child so that his tummy wont hurt anymore. :D
