Dear Raw Milk Supporters, If you want to see this headline in the newspapers we need you to take action TODAY! We need your help, we need you to call the Governor!! We have just had two highly successful public hearings on the Raw Milk Bill, SB 236. One was held in Madison and the other in Lacrosse. At each public hearing those that attended that were in favor of the bill outnumbered those opposed by 8 or 9 to 1!! Clearly the people want this bill to pass!! The opposition, dairy industry lobbies, is trying to box in the governor so that he feels there is no support for this bill. They are doing this by getting one editorial, that is against the bill, that was published by the Sheboygan Press and then they are getting this editorial; reprinted in many other papers all across the state so that it seems there is a lot of opposition to the bill. The opposition knows they are losing and they are trying to create a sense that there is no support for SB -236, the Raw Milk Bill. We need you to do two things: 1.) Call the Governors Office today-Tell the staff person that you support SB 236, the Raw Milk Bill and you want the Governor to support it. Here is the Governor’s office phone number 608-266-1212. 2.) Next, tell everyone you know that supports the freedom to chose the food you want to call the governor’s office. Ask your spouse, partner and friends to call the Governor’s office!! The phone number again is 608-266-1212. Write it down and give it to people at work and email it to everyone you know who cares about the food they eat. This is how a real grassroots movement works. Lets show the Governor just how many people want to the right to chose the food they want without the state telling them what they cannot eat! This is your opportunity to help pass SB 236, the Raw Milk Bill. Please take action today!! One last request, we need editorials in favor of the raw milk bill to be published in your local newspaper in support of SB 236, the Raw Milk Bill.
