Please share and raise awareness! Our children are being abused if not killed by those who should be protecting them. I am feeling over whelmed with sorrow as i turn down a 2 month old baby who needs protection and love from a stranger because there is so much dysfunction in her family. Products of their damaged environments and it breaks my heart. I am broken that I cant stretch myself any further and hurt at the lack of support for these children and families. I am a solo mummy, teacher, cyfs caregiver, lecturer, community action group leader etc. I work multiple jobs to support the 10 children i still have at home 5 of whom have come from cyfs. I have a modest, over crowded but loving 5 bedroom home. I sleep well at night exhausted from my day but fulfilled knowing as an ordinary individual I am doing something to make a difference. There is always so much outrage, anger and hurt by the community when an innocent life is taken by abuse. PLEASE HELP! By helping families you can change a community and make a real difference in the cycle of abuse. Cyfs are crying out for loving homes...if you are in a position to help in any way dig deep whanau if i can do it you can do it....turn your hurt into action and open your homes and your hearts! much love and respect x
