Please share big boy PETER! He needs some training and tlc so he can calm down and be the dog he is supposed to be! ***Second time on list!!! Peter needs to find a hero!*** Peter is a 2-year old mastiff who was unceremoniously abandoned by his former owner. Peter is uncertain as to what happened and what’s to become of him and he’s trying to gather his wits about himself. Peter reacts strongly to human cues as people are very important to him. His mood vacillates radically depending on what he thinks is anticipated or expected of him. Peter gets very excited when he sees a leash as he tries to take control of the scenario. Because of his variable moods, Peter’s rated a New Hope Only adoption. Peter definitely possesses a “softer” persona that he expresses when he feels more secure. Peter could turn into a model dog if he had some consistent training but the shelter plans on killing him tomorrow before he has a chance to develop. Peter’s a big boy of 88-pounds.
