Please share this. This will help bring home in an understandable way the sheer MADNESS of what it means to live in the red zone surrounding Gaza. This is not anyplace anyone could or does call disputed territory. This is the area surrounding the Gaza Strip from which Israel unilaterally withdrew in 2005, forcefully removing all Jewish/Israeli residents, leaving behind a developed agricultural infrastructure. In return, under Hamas rule, the residents of Gaza under the leadership of Hamas burned down the infrastructure of any place deemed Jewish and then proceeded to collect an arsenal of rockets (much of it locally made from civilian materials). They have since reigned missiles down on Israels civilian population from populated urban centers (a war crime compounded by a war crime). Now, please watch this video to get an idea of the CONSTANT TERROR in which people in this area, a 20 minute drive from me, live. We are lucky, we have 90 seconds to pick up the kids and run for shelter. It never seems like enough. How would you deal with YOUR 15 seconds?
