Please share this and let the world know. Living in Taiwan, I - TopicsExpress

Please share this and let the world know. Living in Taiwan, I thought I was living in a Democracy country; however, Democracy is obviously not existing in Taiwan anymore since the China-friendly President Ma Ying-jeou took office in 2008. On March 18th. 2014, people in Taiwan had occupied the Taiwan Congress(Legislative Yuan) for fighting against a trade agreement with China. All they want is allowing Congress to review the Cross-Strait Agreement on Trade in Services, but Ma Ying-jeou forced KMT to pass the agreement no matter what. Chang, Ching-chung, the Legislator of KMT took Ma’s order. He resists any review or discussion and unilateral announced passing agreement on March 17th., 2014 without any legally process. We still have a Law, and Taiwan is still a Democracy country. A Government or a President like this should’ve stepped down in any Democracy country already, but there are still a lot of mess media in Taiwan covering the truth and trying to assassinate those protesters as some kind of lawless mobs.
