Please share this awful thing with your congressional leader.....most of us have tried to stop this terrible practice that continues to occur in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Georgia but the coal company lobby has so far stopped everyone. Can you believe the Government agencies; Local, State and Federal have permitted and allowed this destruction to continue for many years. These mining practices have continued even though many lives have been lost or hurt, wildlife homes and habitat have been destroyed. Springs, branches and creeks have been covered over....even animals in their homes have been buried alive. How could this awful practice go on for many years especially when so many workers could have made good money to go under the mountains and mine the coal. The coal companies could make more money by blowing up the mountains. They are evil people and so greedy they will not let the miners work and provide for their families.
