Please share this page with all you know....we are working so hard to share our free programs and stop the violence! Bullying has become one of the most serious issues facing our schools today. Through classroom guidance, small group, the A4K clubs, students learn what bullying is, the roles involved: victim, bully, bystander; and what to do if they encounter a bullying incident. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, programs cracking down on individual bullies rarely work, especially if it is a one day event/assembly, but when there is a school wide commitment to end bullying, it can be reduced by up to 50 percent. The Ambassadors 4 Kids 6-8 class program is offered for free! A4K is proactive in preventing bullying with its comprehensive school program, positive behavior interventions, character education program, school wide discipline programs and club support. Students are taught social skills and strategies such as conflict resolution, tattling vs. reporting, respect, accepting differences, teasing, cliques, relational aggression, cooperation and more. Your students are reminded of the importance to work together to ensure that their school is a “bully-free” school. They are coming home with an invitation to be an Ambassador. By signing their name to our pledge, they are becoming a part of the solution that prevents bullying. This eans that they won’t bully other students and will help students who are bullied.
