Please share this post with fellow rescuers. Please do not ask me to tag a dog for you if you are not a 501 (c) (3) rescue group with a good reputation. I will not tag for individuals under any circumstances so dont ask. If you want to be a foster sign up ahead of time if possible so we can get your application checked out. All this last minute craziness is just that. Every day hundreds of animals die in this city that are never on FB, they have no advocates or posts and deserve to live just as much as the one you are obsessing over. If you want to save an animal, get off the computer and go to a shelter and meet some of the animals that need saving. Offers to foster from people that want to help, but have not thought out the commitment that fostering entails are not really helpful. Getting a dog off FB to foster that you cant manage and having to turn it back to overflowing rescues is not helpful to the dog or the rescue. Please take a minute to step back and THINK about what you are doing as too many of these last second dramas are ill conceived and waste a lot of time. Everyone appreciates that we all want to help, but please use your head as much as your heart.
