This is a most un-sightly problem that is becoming more and more prevalent in recent years. I`m not an environmental scientist so I will defer from trying to explain the causes behind this. What I do know is that Walls, Footpaths and Patios of homes are increasingly suffering from a red or green algae. From an astetic view point it really is quiet ugly. On top of this if left untreated it will gradually eat into the surface causing mold growth, mildew and cracks.
