Please shoot up some prayers! We were just in Walmart and witnessed an older gentleman fall and hit his head very hard on the concrete. He was coherent but was loosing a substantial amount of blood and fading in and out while waiting for emergency personnel to arrive. A fellow Mom with her two young girls stayed with him cradling his head in her lap because he kept trying to get up, while another woman called 911 and I went to search for his wife. Who was was yet to be located when we left the scene. The kids are pretty shaken up. They really had a hard time leaving him. Explaining head injuries often result in a lot of blood loss was difficult to explain to them. It was the most blood Ive ever seen. So I know the kids are extremely concerned for him! As am I.. :-(
