Please sign the petition to object to the new taxes on electricity and natural gas. This legislature and governor ALREADY hiked taxes on the middle and lower classes (to give further tax breaks to the wealthy). Now to add a tax on top of Dukes increasing rates is UNFAIR to the citizens of NC. This is fiscal mismanagement on a grand scale! Tell the General Assembly it must act to correct these wrong-headed increases. The bill last year was advertised as lowering taxes and that was a big LIE!
