Please sign this petition. It is so unfair that the government does not recognize chronic Lyme disease. Now doxycycline is between $500 and $1000 a month bcz all generic doxy was bought up by one person who has fixed the price at unaffordable levels. Why should the fate of so many people be in the hands of CDC (center for disease corruption) & 1 wealthy person screwing sick people most of whom cant afford to pay those prices bcz they lost their jobs due to an illness that isnt recognized by their government who is supposed to protect them. Add this outrageous doxy expense to 2-3 other antibiotics & plaquenil which is in short supply & also very expensive AND supplements which ARE necessary for detoxing & maintaining strong immune system which is being overwhelmed by organisms AND once-a-month lyme dr appointment/ routine bloodwork NOT covered by insurance; Which ALL spells UNAFFORDABLE & UNFAIR. Next petition I will be signing is prescription cost reform for all folks. Ridiculous & unfair that hard working Americans get sick and thrown to the curb. Please sign this for friends and loved ones with Lyme. They need your help. It will take about one minute AND it could also help YOU as well should you one day get bitten by an infected tick & your life as you know it is FOREVER CHANGED as you try to navigate thru a system that wont help you.
