Please sign this petition to demand a thorough and transparent investigation into the murder of Hashem Al Salman in Beirut on the 9th June, 2013. This young man was exercising his right to protest peacefully in Beirut when he was ambushed and killed in cold blood by an armed gang of men. His only weapon was a megaphone but he was beaten repeatedly and shot to death, and beaten once again after he was lifeless. Medical aid was hindered by the perpetrators of the crime. There were many eye witnesses including the members of the Lebanese Army, as the incident took place in a very public area, and yet no arrests have been made and no information has been forthcoming to Hashem’s family about ongoing investigations. It is imperative that the authors of this crime, as well as the executors, are brought to justice and, in order to do this, we must demonstrate by collecting as many signatures as possible that the international community will NOT consent to these acts by tacit agreement... We needs 50 more signers.. Thank you
