Please spread the word that we are looking for a volunteer to head our revamped Feral Cat Project. Under the direction and supervision of the Founder/ Organizational Development and Operations Manager and our Animal Care Manager, this position will be responsible for supervising and overseeing our Feral Cat Project volunteers. We need someone who is reliable, professional in conduct, a good communicator, someone who has computer literacy skills, someone who cares about animals, works well as a team, good conflict resolution skills, non-judgemental, organized, community- minded and able to follow through with tasks they take on. The project is in the process of being revamped, so the manager will work with the Founder and Feral cat Specialist a couple hours a week via email and phone until we have the ball rolling. Once that is complete and we have fully developed our paperwork, mission statement, etc. we will begin coordinating TNR projects in the community. GENERAL VOLUNTEER HOURS PER WEEK FOR THIS PROJECT: Varies from a couple of hours per week to several. Once the new model is up and running the manager will not have to volunteer too many hours per week but is asked to check their emails on a daily basis. This is a very exciting position for the right person. You can help mould and shape this project and be part of "Muskoka history" as it pertains to helping animals and dealing with our feral cat issues!
