Please stop asking me why Im not out drifting yet... If you just assume from my lifestyle Im rich I am not.. neither is my family.. I have devoted all my energy and time and efforts into traveling and drifting sacrificing not only luxuries and finacial stability but relationships as well. Ie living in a shop basement for 3 years ... Sadly Pro drifting is still not a sport that just anyone can make happen with talent alone.. if you wonder how a guy drives through pro-am then can do a whole season of Fd and continue to year in and out without winning or being a top contender ask them.. seriously.. I hate to make this about money but thats the fact..last few years I tried the path of performance on track to progress but its clear I should have been working on business off the track a little more then i did. But in doing so Ive been able to travel across north america and Canada / Japan and simply be happy driving and building my fan base and representing my sponsors so I dont regret it. . now that its clear I cannot expect my performance alone to secure me more financial support I have to make it happen somehow myself.. and at a season being on a bum level low end of $30,000 for a season lets just say its hard to make a years salary and spend a years salary taking that much time off.. respect the fact Im still here and still trying harder then ever to make my dreams reality as well as finally make all my fans and supporters happy as well.. its a uphill battle without bankroll and everyone on the comeup needs to understsnd that. If you are not about this life it will chew you up and spit you out with a quickness.. Im doing all I can and I only hope my sponsors and fans can stand by me on this journey and continue to overcome everything put in our way... Its 2014 and I can still become the 1st of african american decent on a podium in Formula drift.. thats Crazy but the truth ..I knew it wouldnt be easy but never thought it would be this hard... Please stop asking me..Im pissed too ! Lol , trust me if I had money like that I would have already won a Fd championship ...
