Please support Daniel, a brave teenager whose coming out was met with violence and rejection by his own family. Stories like this break my heart because I know that there are so many people out there who are forced to live their lives in secrecy, fearing that them coming out will result in moments like the ones Daniel experienced in this horrifying video. While this video tears me up inside, it also serves as a reminder that even when we live in a time where The Normal Heart can win an Emmy and all of Hollywood can stand up on their feet in applause, there is still so much work to do so that future generations do not have to experience the fear that so many people live with today. There is a world full of acceptance and love just waiting for you to find it. Remember, you are not alone. Find freedom in being yourself in all of your beautiful facets because you are beautiful.
