Then SHARE THIS, We have an opportunity to save the lives of countless animals suffering and dying in laboratory cosmetics tests every year in the United States. Congressman Jim Moran D-VA has introduced the Humane Cosmetics Act H.R. 4148, which seeks to ban the testing of cosmetic products and their ingredients on animals, as well as the import of products which have been tested on animals. ADI is backing this important bill and believes that together we can make a difference. The tide is turning – 28 countries across Europe have already ended these cruel, outdated methods, as have India and Israel, and it is time for the US to join them! We have witnessed first-hand the terrible suffering that animals are forced to endure for cosmetics testing – racks of rabbits restrained in stocks so there is no escape when products are dripped into their eyes, guinea pigs whose backs were raw and inflamed after having products applied to their skin.
