Please take a moment to look at our photography project, kck.st/1m6uXyO, documenting communities in the Beni department of Bolivia, that use revised indigenous knowledge in agriculture to adapt to climate change. The re-creation and maintenance of ancient agricultural system presents an effective and practical solution in response to the effects of climate change and the need for conservation of globally significant forests and biodiversity and sustainable agriculture. Our goal is to create a publication with text and photography that encourages local farmers and government to continue investing their time and resources in these projects with a view to turning disaster into opportunity, improving household nutrition and generating income while preserving the fragile ecosystem. Please help us complete this project and contribute towards making this remarkable area of Bolivia become one of the sites of the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS).
