Please take a moment to read this. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. I’ve been thinking about this quote a lot lately. We’ve heard it all of our lives, but do we really think about it? Of course I knew it meant that when things get tough, strong people take action and get things done. But I never really thought about how truly hard that is. When life gets tough, really tough, sometimes we let it get the best of us, right? I mean, when I was diagnosed with cancer, I sat. I just sat. Staring. I think I blew through an entire series on Netflix, but I have no recollection of it what-so-ever. I couldn’t focus on anything.
