Please take a moment today to reflect and honor the incredible veterans who regularly risk their lives for our freedom. Veterans are a significant group of the epilepsy community. Of the millions of troops who have served in Iraq & Afghanistan, more than 440,000 soldiers will experience TBI and more than 100,000 will develop PTE. These numbers are staggering and unacceptable. Yet, these brave soldiers continue fighting for us. And we fight for them, working daily to find a cure.
