Itll take about 5 minutes of your time, but itll inform you about a much forgotten and neglected part of the world, CAR. Here are 5 reasons why the Central African Republic deserves your ATTENTION and ASSISTANCE: 1. More than 2,000 people have been killed since Christian fighters supporting ousted President Bozize tried to take back the capital from Muslim rebels in December 2013. (Btw, the article is about 1 month old, death toll has definitely risen. Also, new findings suggest that the death toll of Muslims is above and beyond this as many deaths go unrecorded due to the fact that Muslims often have private burials without venturing outside into dangerous territory.) 2. International aid organizations as well as the United Nations fear the death toll will only increase, and high-level officials have warned that tensions between the ethnic communities have deteriorated so sharply that the country is at risk of genocide. (ITS A CASE OF ETHNIC CLEANSING!) 3. The United Nations (the most useless international body known to humankind. If only they stopped estimating and actually did some investigating!) estimates that nearly a million of the CARs 4.6 million people are displaced, while half of the population depends on aid. (Muslims are literally TRAPPED, unable to escape for fear of being murdered if they stepped out of the safety enclaves. Many have had to flee to bordering countries. There is little or no aid coming to them.) 4. The conflict is taking a devastating toll on the countrys children. (Recruitment of child soldiers on the rise, MALNUTRITION EVERYWHERE!!, and schools and institutions destroyed). 5. There are peacekeepers present but they are unable to stop the violence. (The French peacekeepers are useless and if anything adding to the violence. Dare I say... some even support anti-Balaka in their attack of Muslims.
