He spent every holiday in the hospital and was even on life support for 9 day, spent 11 in ICU. My job told me to choose between my son or my job. At the time, I was attending Le Cordon Bleu to become a Pastry Chef. I put my life on hold to help my son. He now suffers from Low Immune System, Asthma, and Autism. Insurance does not cover the help he needs to function in everyday life. He is depending on me to be a success for him. Ive been building my business since my job. I have had the lovely opportunity to be home with him to help guild him though his difficult times and still provide for my son. Soon, he will be introduced to the school system, and will become sicker, and need more therapy to help him with his Autism. Very soon, the baking licences I have to operate in my home will no longer be valid. Its a must to own and operate a pastry shop now because I have no one else to depend on, and having this shop will able me to continue to provide some of the help he needs, and help me fore fill a life long dream. Do to a unexpected extra deposit, I an short of my dream and help for my little one. So I have turned to the people for help. I am no stranger in giving, I have donated desserts to many local charities and events like; Make a Wish, Breast Cancer treatment for women, elementary schools, Special needs, to name a few. I am also working will and on students doing a intern program for those enrolled in high school/college to help give them the experiences needed to get a job in the industry. Please donate and help me help others by opening the doors to the Dessert Cafe. I give my word, I will do all I can to give back to the community.
