Please tie down things that will go flying in the air...or put in basement etc. Check your drains. Be prepared for power off. Save some water in containers. Get some can food and or granola bars (non perishable foods). Flash lights and batteries. Be careful if you have to use candles. Stay home and stay off the roads. Charge cell phones etc. Most importantly check on Elders and disabled to see if they are prepared for the storm. Make sure you have enough medications. Be prepared for at least 72 hours for emergency preparedness. If I forgot anything important just add on to it. From the Eskasoni Health Centre.
