Please urge your legislators to support the Captive Primate Safety Act! Even in a gridlocked Congress, the Captive Primate Safety Act passed the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works last week, setting it up for a vote in the whole chamber. This progress wouldn’t have happened without your tireless outreach to legislators. Every member of Congress prioritizes bills that constituents care about, so we need to keep letting them know that this bill deserves attention. We still have a long way to go before the interstate trade of pet primates ends once and for all. Even if you have done so before, please call your Senators and Representative in Congress. Lets get this bill passed!
