Please use you sense of reasoning to accept the fact that we cannot always solve our problems by recourse to outside help. It is defeatism and sign of weakness. The insurgents BK are Nigerians not Europeans or Americans. When USA was fighting al-queda Nigeria and others were not invited to USA. When Britain was fighting IRA she didnt invite even USA. When Sri Lanka was fighting Tamal tigers she did it alone for decades. Algeria, Uganda, etc didnt invite foreign powers to fight her war. Then why Nigeria?! We cherish and jealousy defend our independence until now with foreign forces undermining our military forces to fight in a small corner of Nigeria for us? My concern is as a student of international politics, there is not morality, it is a game of power and interest. There is no way they will come in with clean-slate. They will satisfy their interest too. Killing one marine will trigger chains of events. If there is sincerity why can they give the technology to our soldiers to fight Boko Haram? We dont want them to turn far-north into War-Zone. Despite their claims in Afghanistan ,karzai have chase them out. Pakistan have to fight them too with series of drome-attacks on civilian population. Considering the fact that they already predicated Nigerian disintegration, we have every reason to be apprehensive.
