Please welcome Memphis Rags Bellydance & LaVinnia Londons Cabaret to the Memphis Comic Expo September 13th at The Agricenter from 10-7! Memphis Raqs Bellydance is a professional performance troupe that specializes in a style of modern American bellydance known as tribal fusion. Celebrating our 7th year in Memphis, we pride ourselves on producing seamless customized entertainment for each venue, whether it be more traditional cultural representations at educational events, family-friendly colorful and humorous performances that include audience participation, or contemporary cirque-style productions lit with eye-popping props like fire, swords, live music and snakes. Our troupe can adapt to small areas utilizing soloists and duets all the way to full-size stage productions with our 8-12 piece ensemble with stage-worthy costuming and props. memphisbellydance LaVinnia Londons Cabaret is a locally-produced seasonal production at Minglewood Hall, featuring variety style acts by local performers and artists. Each show features circus-style acts with dancers, illusionists, aerial performers, floor acrobats, live music and comedy, fire and LED performances. For events that have a unique theme that are looking for strolling entertainers or stage performances to amp up the theme, we can customize our performances to either stage presentation or stationed/strolling entertainers throughout a large space.
