Pledger Business English Training would like to wish you all a very good start to 2014 and particularly a healthy and happy year. I have just returned from 3 weeks in Sri Lanka – a beautiful Island just 31 kms south of India and formerly known as Ceylon. Touring the country gave me a good overview of the (very poor) way of life, the lovely friendly people, the beautiful scenery (particularly trekking for 3 days in remote tea plantations) and the historic temples and huge Buddhas. Highlights were elephant watching in their natural environment and whale watching off the coast of Mirissa. What a great start to the new year and I count myself very fortunate to be able to travel to such a wonderful part of the world.
