Plenty of folks lately like to comment (and generally theyre smart peeps too - which is fascinating) that the past plays no role in the future. Well thats not in quotes because they say it in a myriad of different ways. I must be out to lunch then because in my grey matter especially the recent past (which is still the past - right?) has everything to do with the now (as they like to say) or the present and everything to do with the direct they will discover themselves in in the near future. In fact the in the following they would see (if they watch it - which they wont) that the past (they feel is some type of set-back) and the future (they have themselves deluded into feeling is a non-issue) in their mind [grey too as it is] is not yet here.
