Plenty of motorsport on this weekend... Starting on Friday night Top End Moto Cross Club located on Catalina road in Palmerston is holding Club Championship Round 3 for the Mini Bikes. Saturday night will be high flying motocross underlights where a number of competitors will be preparing for the Australian Supercross next weekend. Darwin Karting Assoc is having round 10 of their Championship Series at Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex. Spectators as usual are free with bar and canteen facilities available. Katherine Speedway is holding a race night on Saturday night. Should be some close racing in the street stocks section. Also on Saturday night at the Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex the Hidden Valley Drag Racing Assoc is holding Championship Round 6. Scott Maclean will be trying to beat the track record yet again. On Sunday, Central Australian Drag Racing Assoc is hosting the 1/4 Mile Smiles event at the Alice Springs Inland Dragway, a fund raising event for the Make a Wish foundation.
