Plenty of pictures from completed or under construction Card Models. But not to much about tools and hints and tips, maybe it is somewhere in older posts. I am thinking about new comers in to the hobby. I only use basic tools, a good scalpel with disposable blades, tweezers, tool for scribing the fold lines, scalpel with a movable head, small paint brush and steel ruler. On my Steel ruler I have glued 1/2000 grit wet&dry sandpaper it stops the ruler from moving, otherwise roughen up on side of it that will help as well. I also got small steel blocks and magnets to hold bits flat or when building box sections to hold those square. Mast and other round objects I roll around some evergreen plastic rods or any other rods with the right diameter to stiffen the parts, especially for mast and spars if you want to put rigging on to them.Hope it helps the newbies.
