All competitors are welcome to come to VDF at any time to assess equipment and are encouraged to come to any open gym or Strongman sessions to familiarize yourself with implements. Weights to date are: (may change as people weigh in and weight classes shift slightly) Yoke: May not be placed down until the back of the yoke reaches the 20m turning point or again until the 40m mark. If unloaded from shoulders then time taken and distance traveled will be recorded. Male heavy: 270kg Male light: 210kg Female heavy: 170kg Female light: 150kg Farmers: (per hand) Male 80kg 70kg Female 50kg 40kg Carry: heavy=stones light=kegs Carry implements may be lapped but may not touch the ground after they are carried past the start line. Implement must be controlled on platform. If a failure occurs time of last successful load will be taken. Male Heavy=65-70-78-90kg stones Light=55-65-75-85kg kegs Female Heavy=48-56-65-70kg stones Light=45-55-65-75kg kegs All weights can be scaled.
