Plot Twist: Katniss woke up hoping to see Rye and Willows faces. But instead, woke up to her mothers. It didnt make sense. Her mother died months ago. Katniss, wake up. The reaping is in 3 hours and you wanted to go hunting, didnt you? She asks. Katniss looks around frantically. Was this a dream? She looked at the calender hanging in her room. She slid her finger to the current date. How could this be? No. This isnt real. Its impossible. Katniss said. Shhh...youll wake Prim, and shes already freaking out about her first reaping today. Ms. Everdeen whispered. Katniss gave a wierd look. Wheres Peeta? Katniss asked in a hushed tone. Whos Peeta? Ms. Everdeen asked. The bakers boy? The one who I entered the games with, TWICE? My husband? The father of your grandchildren? Stop me when any of this rings a bell. Katniss said quickly. You mustve had an odd dream last night. Ms. Everdeen muttered. Did I? Were the past 20 years a dream? After gettingdressed and going hunting with Gale, I walked into the reaping holding Prims hand. We seperate and Im freaked out. What has happened? It all looks the same. Effie walks to the stage and draws the names. Maple Summers. She calls. So, it wasnt real. Prim was safe. Should I let this happen? Or should I volunteer for the scared 12 year old and make sure it doesnt happen again? I volunteer! I volunteer as tribute! I scream. ~EffieTrinket
